St Peter - Collective Worship Bundle!
This bundle contains a series of 3 completely original, engaging and thought-provoking collective worship sessions aiming to build children’s understanding of St. Peter.
Each session focuses on a different aspect of Peter’s life:
Jesus Calls Peter

The Restoration of Peter
Each worship session follows a colourful and comprehensive PowerPoint presentation which guide the worship leader and the children through the worship journey, including opportunities for recall, engagement with scripture, drama-based activities (session 2 contains an original script), videos (hyperlinked), hymns and prayer.
Towards the end of each session, children are encouraged to reflect on their own personal spirituality, in response to deep and relevant discussion questions.
This worship sessions are tried and tested, and have always been really well received in the past. The slides are visually engaging and well-presented, and the subject matter is tailored to the interests and needs of young people. If everything is kept in each session, they take around 30 minutes each to deliver, but you may choose to edit or amend some elements of the session.

This engaging and original assembly/ collective worship session aims to provide children with an understanding of the Saint Peter, particularly focusing on his him denying being an acquaintance of Jesus. It was originally delivered as the third in a series of three collective worship sessions on Saint Peter.
The aims of the session are to consider:
-The events of the Resurrection and Peter’s Restoration;
-Peter’s role in spreading Christianity;
-Lessons that we can apply to our own lives.
The colourful and comprehensive presentation guides the worship leader and the children through the following journey:
-Recalling prior knowledge about Saint Peter and establishing the basic information about who he was/ what he is known for;
-Recalling how Peter had denied his acquaintance with Jesus;
-Watching and comprehending an engaging, age-appropriate video (hyperlinked) which details Jesus’ resurrection and appearance to Peter;
-Considering how Peter worked to redeem himself after Jesus had ascended to heaven;
-Reflecting on our own spirituality - thinking about times when we let people down - how can we redeem ourselves?
-Participating in related song and prayer.
